Bio

Nicole Naone has arranged and rearranged her experiences into a current collection of art that recalls the eccentricity of childhood and the expansion of adulthood’s ample mishaps. She was raised on O‘ahu and has traveled the world, from London to Morocco. As a model and student, her time is filled with pious dedication to researching advancing styles in art and connecting with other artists. Some of her influences are Henry Moore, 송수남, Frank Gehry, M.C. Escher, Danton Naone and Koak. She is inspired by beauty and its self-destruction, inevitable and awkward miracles, fevered outbursts, and chaos; her art is the synthesis of notes on creation and destruction. Her family, friends, and faith have fueled her fascinations and helped her gain the insight to continue making art – they are the catalysts for her success and she is eternally grateful to them. Nicole graduated from Kamehameha Schools in 2005 and currently attends the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, studying sculpture.
